Can't use internet through VPN service

Hello.I can't use internet through some VPN services although I can connect to them. They are Open VPN and PPTP and have the same problem.I have other VPN services(Open VPN,L2TP,PPTP) that work fine.I contacted an admin from one of these and he said their servers work alright,so it's a problem with my computer.I sent a ping in their server and I got the response - destination host unreachable.I have Windows XP SP2 and a broadband connection through fiber optics using PPPOE.Can you help me?

Thank you.

Is Split Tunneling enabled? That would have to be done on the administration side btw.
