| Multiple NAT active sessions to Domain Server
This is something I have never paid attention to so it my be normal.
When I just checked the Status page of my router I noticed that there were over 20 UDP NAT active sessions to my Domain server.
If I check it every few minutes the number changes from none to as many as 20+
Is this normal? TWC is my service provider.
P.S I have no idea what NAT active sessions applies to -- The man who has no imagination has no wings. One of the most valuable things we can do to heal one another is listen to each other's stories. |

| That's probably reasonable.
Each DNS query uses a different UDP port, so that will be a new UDP NAT session per query, until it times out of the NAT table. -- AT&T dsl; Speedstream 5100b modem; openSuSE 11.0; firefox 3.0.11 |
