Boing Boing notes that this summer the EFF is hiring people to work on Tor. Tor is a networking system that bounces all of your traffic through a myriad of encrypted links (dubbed "onion routers"). It was designed primarily to protect researchers and political dissidents (though it's been home to seedier activity of late). From the wiki: "You will work with a world-class team of anonymity experts and developers on what is already the largest and most active strong anonymity network ever." From home, no less.
